Sleep tracking app with Pokémons
Pokémon Sleep is an arcade and sleep meditation app designed to help you improve your sleeping habits by turning sleep tracking into an entertaining experience. Developed with a Pokémon-themed twist, the app rewards you for getting a good night's rest and encourages them to become more aware of your sleep patterns.
Pokémon Sleep aims to promote healthy sleep habits in a fun and engaging way. You simply place your device near their bed while sleeping, and it tracks basic sleep data, such as total sleep time and fall asleep duration. The modes are one of three types: Dozing, Snoozing, or Slumbering.
A playful approach to sleep tracking
Pokémon Sleep matches you with corresponding Pokémon characters based on their sleep type, adding a playful and adorable element to the process. This encourages you to become more attentive of your sleep patterns and make positive changes to improve your sleep health. The game also features unlockable sleep types, adding variety and encouraging continued use as you sleep with it every night.
During waking hours, you can interact with a Snorlax in the game, feeding it to improve its Strength stat. A higher Sleep Score and Snorlax's Strength contribute to increased Drowsy Power, which attracts more Pokémon. While having most of the game’s mechanics intact, you can’t trade your Pokémons with other players. Nonetheless, you can unlock various Pokémon characters, including popular ones like Bulbasaur, Charmander, Charizard, and Squirtle.
The game however, is only available in select territories, including the United States, Australia, Canada, Latin America, and New Zealand. The developers continue to add new features, such as special in-game events and new Pokémon characters, to enhance the player experience. For example, a "Super Skill Week" event is scheduled from January 20th to 27th, 2025, introducing new Pokémon like Rufflet and Braviary and focusing on "Skills Specialty" Pokémon.
A fun addition to any Pokemon fan
Pokémon Sleep offers a unique approach to promoting healthy sleep habits. While you can’t trade other Pokémons and have limited availability, by gamifying the sleep tracking process and incorporating beloved Pokémon characters, the app encourages players to become more aware of their sleep patterns and make changes for their well-being.
